Linux Distribution

Linux Distribution is an operating system which contain the collection of application based on Linux & a package management system. It is often called as "Distro". It is primarily available on free or open source software based on linux kernel. It usually provided with graphical user interface & using many inbuilt packages, we can impliment x-windowing facility. Packages for this OS is easily available & can be downloaded from internet. A typical version of this OS comprises a Linux kernel, with GNU packages, a window system, window manager & desktop enviornment.
